  • The Roces soft-side boots may be widened with the use of a hair dryer.
  • Warm boots so they are flexible, but not hot.
  • Put the skates on your foot, and wear the skates until cool.
  • This may be done a total of three times to achieve maximum width.

  • Ladies - to enlarge the calf area, warm top of boot with a hair dryer.
  • Insert a wine bottle, neck end down, into the boot as far as possible to stretch top of boot.

    More tips:

  • When trying on boots, flex your knees into a normal skating stance, as this will move the heel into the heel cup.
  • If your ankles are pronated (roll to the inside), correcting this problem with an insert will change your shoe/skate size down one size.
  • When trying on skates, tighten the laces and strap, as your inlines should fit VERY snug for optimum performance.
