Click on images for detail. The revolution of skating
After three years of cooperation between Roces and the biomechanical engineering team of the Clinic Gut based in St. Moritz; Switzerland we developed the skate of the Millenium: A skate which really moves with your body.
Biomex technology is the natural answer to the skater's demands.
NATURAL FLEXION OF OUR KNEE
In every spor t when we bend our knees, they naturally flex towards the inside. The natural axis is not perpendicular to the foot but slighty inclined towards the inside. That's where the Roces-Biomex technology comes to work, allowing both of our knees and ankle to flex in the right direction, allowing the most natural movement and supporting the stability of the ankle.
- During Inline skating there are high forces induced to the foot, therefore the ankle should be stabilized within the natural range of motion to achieve a better performance and to make inline-skating more enjoyable.
- The foot and leg are complicated. Lots of bones, muscles and ligaments work together when we skate.
CONSEQUENCES OF THE TRADITIONAL SKATE CONSTRUCTION:
- Traditional Skate Construction forces an unnatural movement.
- You waste a lot of the energy (which your body creates) in turning the plastic in the Natural "correct" direction.
- Therefore you transmit to the skate less energy then you create.
- You skate slower, with more fatigue and effort.
ROCES-BIOMEX SKATE CONSTRUCTION BENEFITS:
- Total power transmission to the skate/ground.
- Faster skating with less effort and less fatigue.
- It is SAFER because it is a Natural movement and it stabilizes the ankle within the natural axis of motion.
